W- Family
I met the sweetest person in Ashley earlier this year, and she happens to be a phenomenal photographer local to Clarksville, Tennessee. Of course, in true military fashion, as soon as you meet a friend, it becomes time for one of you to move. So, it's sad for me to say that her and her beautiful family are about to enter their next chapter of their military adventure, and the impact they've had on the Clarksville community will sorely be missed.
What makes this hard is not the new adventure, because that can be so exciting, but the goodbye to life as you currently know it. Just simply knowing that even if you ever got to come back to the same place, it would just be...different.
So we made a plan to use the locations that mean the absolute most to them as a family, the places they are going to miss deep in their hearts. We started in their home, cuddling on the sofa, running around the kitchen, and tossing the babies on the bed in pure delight as they've done many times before. Then out the house and into the backyard to play the "Lazy Alligator" game on the trampoline just like the kids love to do any chance they get. Then finally, we made the short drive to Ashley's perfect creek location, where she's taken so many clients to capture their own beautiful memories....so we could capture some of hers.
Big changes are coming to this wonderful family and it was such an honor to be asked to create a family film for them to re-live, to feel, and to remember these days later down the road.
